Jason and Grace Simon

Executive and Associate Directors

Jason and Grace direct The Evangelical Catholic in Madison, Wisconsin and serve on the staff of the UW-Madison Catholic campus ministry. Jason and Grace both received their Masters of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame. They work with dioceses, parishes and campus ministries around the country to help them be intentional in the mission of evangelization, reaching out especially to young adults and college students. They have three children and reside in Madison, Wisconsin.

James Carrano

Associate Director

James Carrano served as a campus minister at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a decade before joining the Evangelical Catholic. With expertise in small group outreach and discipleship development, he has assisted parishes and campus ministries nationwide to launch vibrant, fruitful and self-sustaining evangelistic ministries. James has directed and preached hundreds of retreatsand conferences for college students and parishioners. He holds a Master’s in Music and a BA from the University of Wisconsin, and lives in Wisconsin with his wife, Jessica, and their five children.

Peter Andrastek

Director of Diocesan and Parish Outreach

Peter received a Masters of Theological Studies in Pastoral Theology from Ave Maria University in 2008. He has worked for the Church in adult ministry since 2004, and has also worked in young adult ministry and youth ministry. He joined the EC in 2011 as Director of Parish Evangelization, and he currently advises 5 EC alliance parishes in Wisconsin as well as the Archdiocese of Kansas City. He lives in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin with his wife and four children.

Katelin Cummins

Office Manager

Katelin Cummins became interested in the EC after experiencing difficulty in getting Catholics on her college campus to gather together for faith-based community. Through EC training, she began leading more effective small groups, finding and forming authentic Catholic Christian community. She began working for the EC in December 2007.
