EC Pulse Evaluator
How would the people in my parish or campus ministry respond to the following?
Do you have regular times of fruitful and fulfilling private personal prayer?
Do you take time daily to read the Scriptures or some spiritual book?
Is your participation in the Mass and the other sacraments of the Church spiritually enriching and something of which you have a fulfilling understanding?
Are you growing in your victory over personal sin and un-Christ-like habits?
Do you have close Christian friends with whom you regularly share fellowship?
If a new person who has little or no spiritual formation comes into our parish or campus ministry, would she:
*be approached and invited personally into a small Christian Community? *hear an invitation to personal conversion on a regular basis, both from the pulpit and from individual parishioners (in a manner appropriate to that particular individual)? *receive the basic tools and accountability for establishing a personal daily prayer time that includes Scripture? *be given formation and training to evangelize, establish and equip others according to each person’s ability and position (i.e. parents to their children, those with leadership gifts to a wider audience or community)? *have ongoing opportunities for leadership formation if she possesses gifts of leadership? *be nurtured in her spiritual life regardless of whether I, or other staff, are personally able to help her connect with the parish? *perceive a consistent outreach by the parish and individuals to share the Gospel and invite people into the parish?
